Villa DEMI

Villa Demi was built in 2009 at the end of the small Brač town of Pražnica. It was made of the same white local stone that was used to build the White House in Washington, the lobby of the UN building in New York and the seventeen-centuries-old Diocletian's Palace in nearby Split, the largest coastal town in Croatia. An example of the synergy of traditional and contemporary architecture, fusing with the surrounding karst terrain thanks to its playful shape, the villa enriches this hilly island landscape with its many stone walls and pillars as well as horticultural details.

Facing the sky itself, Villa Demi becomes an oasis of peace--a place to escape to and relax in sync with authentic, untouched nature.
